This includes, for example, information such as your name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address, IP address or user behaviour when visiting a website. Information for which we cannot (or can only with a disproportionate effort) establish a connection to your person, e.g. through anonymisation, is not personal data. The processing of personal data (e.g. collection, retrieval, use, storage or transmission) always requires a legal basis and a predefined purpose. Stored personal data shall be deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved and there are no legitimate grounds for further retention of the data. We inform you in the individual processing operations about the specific storage periods or criteria for storage. Irrespective of this, we store your personal data in individual cases for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and in the case of statutory storage obligations.

Who gets my data?
We will only disclose your personal data that we process on our website to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the given purposes and is covered by the legal basis in the individual case (e.g. consent or safeguarding of legitimate interests). In addition, we pass on personal data to third parties in individual cases if this serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. Possible recipients may then be, for example, law enforcement agencies, lawyers, auditors, courts, etc. Insofar as we use service providers for the operation of our website who process personal data on our behalf within the scope of commissioned processing pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, they may be recipients of your personal data.

They cannot run programs or contain viruses.

Legal basis

What rights do I have?
Under the conditions of the statutory provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), you have the following rights as a data subject:

  • Information according to Art. 15 GDPR, Section 34 BDSG about your stored personal data in the form of meaningful information about the details of processing and a copy of your data;

  • Correction according to Art. 16 GDPR of incorrect or incomplete data stored by us;

  • Deletion pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR of the data stored by us, insofar as the processing is not necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;

  • Restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed, the processing is unlawful, we no longer require the data and you object to their deletion because you require them for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have objected to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.

  • Data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, insofar as you have provided us with personal data within the scope of consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Letter a) GDPR or on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Letter b) GDPR and these have been processed by us with the aid of automated procedures. How are my data processed in detail?
In the following, we inform you about the individual processing operations, the scope and purpose of the data processing, the legal basis, the obligation to provide your data and the respective storage period. An automated decision in individual cases, including profiling, does not take place.

Provision of the website
Nature and scope of the processing

When you call up and use our website, we collect the personal data that your browser automatically transmits to our server. The following information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file:

  • IP address of the requesting computer

  • Date and time of access

  • Name and URL of the retrieved file

  • Website from which the access is made (referrer URL)

  • The browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider

Our website is not hosted by ourselves, but by a service provider who processes the aforementioned data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR for the purpose of providing the website.

Purpose and legal basis
The processing is carried out to protect our overriding legitimate interest in displaying our website and ensuring security and stability on the basis of Art. 6 Letter f) GDPR. The collection of data and storage in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. There is no right to object to the processing due to the exception under Article 21(1) GDPR. As far as the further storage of the log files is required by law, the processing takes place on the Basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter c) GDPR. There is no legal or contractual obligation to provide the data, but it is technically impossible to call up our website without providing the data.

Storage period
The aforementioned data are stored for the duration of the website display.

Use and application of Google Maps
Nature and scope of data processing
Content from Google Maps ("Google") is integrated on our website. By visiting a sub-page of our website on which Google Maps is integrated, data about your behaviour when using Google Maps are transmitted to Google and processed by Google. The processing and transmission to Google does not take place automatically, but only through active clicking by the user. It is only through this conscious use that data about your behaviour when using Google Maps are transmitted to Google and processed by Google. Google thereby receives, for example, the information that you have called up the corresponding sub-page of our website. The data processed by Google may include, in particular, your IP address and location data, but these will not be collected without your consent (which will usually be given in the settings of your mobile devices).

Purpose and legal basis for data processing

Google processes these data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of market research and/or the needs-based design of Google Maps. If you are a Google customer and logged in to a Google service, these data will be directly linked to your Google account. If you do not wish to do this, you must log out of Google before visiting our website. The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter a) GDPR. This serves as the legal basis for our company for processing operations where we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. The provision of personal data is neither legally nor contractually required and is not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are also not obliged to provide the personal data. However, failure to do so may mean that you are unable to use our website or to use it to its full extent.

Deactivation option
If you want to prevent data sharing, you cannot use YouTube's features. Regardless of this, we recommend that you regularly log out of your user account there after using a social network, especially before activating integrated content, as this allows you to avoid an assignment to your profile with the respective provider.

Use and application of Google Analytics
Nature and scope of the processing
We have integrated the Google Analytics component (with pseudonymisation function) on our website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Web analytics is the collection, aggregation and analysis of data about the behaviour of visitors to the website. Among other things, a web analysis service collects data on which website a data subject came to a website from (so-called referrers), which sub-pages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a sub-page was viewed. A web analysis is mainly used for the optimisation of a website and for the cost-benefit analysis of Internet advertising. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The cookie is activated based on your consent. We use the addition "_anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. By means of this addition, the IP address of the Internet connection of the person concerned is shortened and pseudonymised by Google if access to our website takes place from a member state of the European Union or from another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Purpose and legal basis
The purpose of the Google Analytics component is to analyse the flow of visitors to our website. Google uses the data and information obtained to, among other things, evaluate the use of our website in order to produce online reports for us which show the activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of our website. Google Analytics sets a cookie on the information technology system of the data subject. What cookies are has already been explained above. By setting the cookie, Google is enabled to analyse the use of our website. With each view of one of the individual pages of this website, which is operated by the controller and on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically caused by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical procedure, Google obtains knowledge of personal data, such as the IP address of the person concerned, which Google uses, among other things, to trace the origin of visitors and clicks. The processing of the data is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter a) GDPR.

Storage period
You can refuse the setting of cookies by our website by not consenting to the processing for analysis purposes. Consent given in the cookie banner can also be revoked at any time for the future by deleting the desired cookie. As already described above, you can also prevent this at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies. If you do not give us your consent, it is possible to visit our website without restriction, but not all functions may be fully available.

Information about Google services
Google offers numerous services and is associated with various companies, so it is possible that they can exchange data with each other in places. Your consent is required when using certain Google services. After consent on your part, data will be transmitted to Google. We would like to point out that this may result in the transfer of data to a third country (USA) with an insecure level of data protection. If you do not wish this to happen, please refrain from giving your consent. More information from Google on which services involve data transfer to a third country without an adequate level of data protection based on your consent, what the personal data processed by Google are, etc., is available at

Use and application of external links
We have integrated external links on our website. Usually, the button solutions provided by the social networks already transmit personal data to the respective social network when a user visits a website in which a social media button has been integrated. Through the use of the external links, personal data are only transmitted to social networks when the visitor to a website actively presses one of the social media buttons. The purpose of using such external links is to protect the personal data of visitors to our website and at the same time to enable us to integrate a button solution for, among others, social networks on this website.
